DIN objectives with Infinity correction, for biological and metallurgical applications.

In the following table you will find:

• Biological objectives with 0.17 mm cover glass correction and short WD at higher magnification
• Metallurgical objectives with Long Working Distance and 1.5 mm coverglass correction as for example used for work on display panels
• Metallurgical objectives with Long Working Distance and no cover glass correction

Working Distance can’t quite compete with what’s available in Mitutoyo form factor objectives. But pricing is much more attractive. We did extensive sorting of BeCu probe tips with a 50X objective, part # OTSPI50W5N55Z and were quite happy with the results. If 5 or 7 mm WD at 50X, 60X, or 100X is sufficient for your project then you should consider these objectives.
Infinity objectives for 180 mm tube lens can be used with 200 mm focal length tube lens. Magnification increases by just over 11% (200 / 180 = 1.111...).
