The IM series is well suited for examination of mounted metallurgical specimens or for quality inspections such as microstructure analysis, various materials testing, QA and QC work and photomicrography. Crisp distortion free high resolution images in multiple operational modes and the built-in photo port on the front of the body makes documentation quick and easy. Available contrast methods include Brightfield and Polarized Light observation modes.
On a IM-7200 (trinocular) you could connect another imaging device to the third tube, for example a digital video camera.
