TV Tubes – come in 2 versions, Standard and Mini.
The Mini tubes are a lot shorter at the same magnification which can be a deciding issue in some installations. Unfortunately they carry a higher price as well.
The image at left shows part # FT200 with an installed length of 164.8 mm (6.49”). This tube’s magnification is 5.0. There is no Mini tube exactly matching that but at 6,3X magnification (FTM250) the installed length is 59.6 mm (2.35”) only.
Amplifiers install between TV tube and camera and offer another way to increase the image size seen by the camera sensor.
